Tiles can be made in any size (up to 3 x 4') or any color. They are stunning when used on walls, backsplashes, cabinet door insets, fireplace surrounds, or as accents/borders in floors.They are used as the primary tile, or as accents combined with travertine, marble, granite, etc.
You (or a tilesetter) can install these. Because these are made to size, it is often a matter of installing just a few panels (see Sierra), rather than a multitude of standard-size store-bought tiles.

Though these are well suited for many applications, they're not recommended for exterior locations where freeze/thaw conditions exist.
